OUR IMPACT

SUSTAINABILITY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW
Protecting Our Oceans: Coral Reefs & Marine Life
Every product we create is a step towards giving back to our seas. With a focus on conserving vital ecosystems like coral reefs—the ocean’s colourful, bustling cities—we fund initiatives to restore and protect these delicate habitats. Reefs support countless marine creatures, absorb carbon, and protect coastlines from storms—all while supporting millions of livelihoods globally.

WASTE REDUCTION INITIATIVES
Our commitment to sustainability extends to every item we produce, from STEM-powered ocean learning kits to sun-safe, splash-proof apparel. Designed with care for both children and marine ecosystems, our gear uses only high-quality, eco-friendly UPF50+ fabrics—made to endure sun, salt, and sand. Our entire supply chain is carefully vetted, emphasising sustainable textiles, responsible dyes, and plastic-free, recyclable packaging.

SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION
All of our fabrics are printed or dyed in OEKO-TEX® certified factories, meaning no harmful chemicals or toxins are used during the manufacturing process, ensuring safety for both people and the environment.

ETHICAL SOURCING & FUTURE GOALS
We maintain close relationships with our manufacturers and conduct regular visits to ensure adherence to our high sustainability and ethical standards. Our future focus is on expanding the use of recycled, biodegradable, and responsibly sourced materials to keep our ecological footprint as low as possible.

Ten years ago, as fresh-faced young marine scientists, we packed our tiny backpacks and set off on the adventure of a lifetime.
Over ten years ago, we—Dr. Alison Sky and Dr. Fiona Ocean—stood at the edge of the Arctic, wide-eyed with wonder, collecting data as young marine scientists on a mission to understand this frozen frontier. Now, we’ve come full circle…
Meet Dr. Alison Sky and Dr. Fiona Ocean – twin sisters with blue hearts! Growing up on the fossil-rich shores of the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, England, and the wild waves of the Irish coastline, they were always knee-deep in seaweed, exploring tide pools, and imagining underwater kingdoms. That childhood curiosity grew into a mission to protect the ocean.
Did you know that over 70% of our planet is ocean? That’s a whole lot of blue! Oceans don’t just make great places to splash, snorkel, and spot sea creatures—they actually keep our planet alive.
